Final Santa Claus Parade Information

Hi Everyone!!  We are so excited for this year’s Santa Claus Parade Saturday December 3rd.

This year’s theme is Christmas at the movies, and our float is “What’s This” from the Nightmare Before Christmas.   Here is some important information that you will need to know.

What to wear:  All dancers should wear black pants with white sweaters or Imagine Gear, white hats, earmuffs or headbands, the light up gloves (if you have them) or white mitts. Dancers can decorate themselves with ribbons and bows if you like.  Rosy red cheeks and red lipstick would be great.

-Intensive students please wear black pants with your team jacket white hats, earmuffs or headbands, the light up gloves (if you have them) or white mitts, as well as rosy red cheeks and red lipstick.

Safety is our first concern so please be sure that children know that they cannot be getting on and off the float during the parade and they must stay with the group until the end and notify a Supervisor when leaving.

PCVS and City Hall will have their washrooms open, but going before is a good idea too!

-FLOAT # 28

– DROP OFF LOCATION: North West corner of London St and George St.

PICK UP TIME: 5:45 PROMPTLY Please do not wait for the parade to end to pick up your children because the Supervisors must leave right away

-PICK UP LOCATION:  King Edward Park at the corner of Aylmer St and Princess St

The parade starts at 4:45pm and goes straight down George Street, then West on Prince St to Aylmer St

PLEASE BE PROMPT TO PICK UP.  We have had issues in the past with parents waiting until the end of the parade to pick up their children.

If you would like to volunteer to help decorate the float or to walk with the dancers, please sign up on the bulletin board in the lobby. If you have any decorations that you would like to lend the studio for the float that would be fantastic. We would like the younger children and parents that will be riding on the float to pretend they are elves working in Christmas town. They will have toys, paint brushes and snow balls with them to hold. If you have an elves hat that would be great too!

If anyone has any questions or concerns, please be sure to contact Cindy in the office at
