Melissa Lee-Keating, P.A.E.C.| T.T.S.D.M.A.
Background: Melissa began dancing when she was 8 years old. She studied a variety of dance styles and received a scholarship to train in the professional programme at Quinte Ballet School in Belleville, Ontario. She has had the opportunity to study with distinguished master teachers such as Candice Helm, Gizella Witkowsky, Brian Scott, David Scott and Vicki St. Denys.
With a goal to educate and share her high caliber, high energy training and performing experience, Melissa started teaching for dance schools in the Peterborough area. In 2004 she became the principal, artistic director and founder of Imagine Studios. Melissa continues to attend teaching workshops to further her knowledge and skills. She has achieved certification with Performing Arts Educators of Canada.
Teaches: Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Jazz and Musical Theatre.
Background: Keri has been dancing since the age of 4. She has trained in many dance disciplines. Keri has her Strip to Fit Canfit certificate. She continues to increase her knowledge and skill of dance by taking many workshops, and professional classes with world renowned choreographers such as Luther Brown, Darin Kyle World Solo Tap Dance Champion, The Pulse On Tour with faculty from So You Think You Can Dance, Performing Arts Educators of Canada, and she has traveled with Be Discovered Talent Agency to New York City and Los Angeles. Training with Shane Sparks, Tony Gogo, and Marty Kudelka (J.T choreographer).
Teaches: Tap, Hip Hop, Jazz & Lyrical
Background: Samantha is a competitive provincial level gymnast, and has competed all across Ontario. Samantha has received her level 1 coaching certification with the Coaches Association of Ontario. She continues to increase her skill, and knowledge in gymnastics and dance, taking part in workshops such as the Pulse with faculty from So You Think You Can Dance, and Performing Arts Educators of Canada.
Teaches: Acro and Musical Theatre.
Jessica Moya Brown
Background: Jessica is a professional performer, singer and dance captain in the Keith Burton Tribute Show. Jessica has competed in dance all across Canada. She continues to study with renowned choreographers such as Luther Brown, “Jungle” Shawn Desman's choreographer, and some of the faculty from So You Think You Can Dance.
Teaches: Hip Hop.
Background:Jess Latone is excited to be teaching dance in her hometown of Peterborough after graduating from York University with a BA, majoring in Dance Studies. She has an interest in various dance styles ranging from ballet to African, and has taught these disciplines throughout our community. She continues to improve herself in dance by training with PAEC, and participating in various dance workshops across Ontario.
Teaches: Jazz, Ballet & Musical Theater
Background:Melissa has been training, competing, and assisting classes with Imagine Studios for nine years. She is trained in styles of dance ranging from tap/jazz, to hip hop and ballet. She continues to increases her knowledge and performance skills by attending workshops and professional classes with world renowned choreographers including Darin Kyle World Solo Tap Dance Champion and The Pulse On Tour with faculty from So You Think You Can Dance. Melissa traveled to Las Angeles with Be Discovered talent agency to work with professionals including Master Tap instructor Greg Poland from Millennium Dance complex, Lindsey B. from Americas Best Dance Crew, and world renowned choreographer, Craig H.

Background:Meet our friendly studio administator Jaclyn, she can help you with all your questions and concerns, you can visit her in the office that is located beside studio A. You can also email Jaclyn at firstname.lastname@example.org, or give her a call at 705-761-1427. Jaclyn has been involved with Highland Dance for 25 years. She began dancing at the age of four, and started highland at the age of seven with Kelly Biduke School of Highland Dance and with the Pride of Stewart Highland Dancers in Brooklin.
Jaclyn taught in Uxbridge for four years and at a Performing Arts Centre in Ajax for six years. She danced with the Touch of Tartan Fusion Dance Company in Toronto, and performed with the Scottish musical group Claidhmor until she moved to Peterborough with her family where for 6 years successfully owned and operated MacDuff Highland Dance Academy in Buckhorn.
She is BATD (British Association of Teachers of Dance) certified in Highland Dance.
Mandy is our costume organizer for the studio's recreational and competitive program..
